I have a chest cough, snotty nose and my head hurts. It sucks, because there is nothing much I can do about it. Just need to grin and bare it.

So much time has passed, so many things are different....

I just read over my messages in my inbox (all the way back from 2007) and it makes me sad that I had so many people in my life, some good and some bad, which I no longer keep in contact with.

I know people change and life moves on but I can't help thinking... what if??

I think I'm getting sick, of all things I need right now. My throat hurts, sneezing and I'm coughing up a lot of mucus from my chest. Sorry too much information.

I'm staying in bed all weekend and trying to drink lots of lemon tea. There's not much else I can do, right?

Why is it when you have a weight problem everyone seems to have an opinion on it??

How can I incorporate healthy eating into my cravings for chocolate, sweet drinks and anything with sugar on it?!

& I need to exercise more but I have no energy! Once I finish work I'm in bed fast asleep!

I know that weight lose is not recommended during pregnancy, but for some reason I wish I could lose weight now (the weight I put ON a few months before being pregnant) just so that I don't gain too much later on.

According to the Chinese Gender Predictor ...

...I'm having a girl.

But for some reason, I keep thinking it's a boy. Of course, it's too early to tell but are these things ever right? It's mean to have 90% accuracy. So we'll see.

The boyfriend doesn't want to find out the sex (he also has a boy, 7 years). He wants to be surprised! But I don;t think I can wait.

I have also been told that you can usually tell what you are having from previous pregnancies (your partners - if any!).

If you wanted to have children and had trouble conceiving, would you be more likely to consider IVF, surrogacy, or adoption, and why?

BEFORE becoming pregnant I always assumed that I was unable to have children but I never thought I would need to resort to adoption, IVF or surrogacy.

If things hadn't of happened the way they did, by getting pregnant... I would adopt a child. OR foster varies children who need a caring home.

I was planning on (and it still may happen) fostering a little girl who I have cared for on and off since she was 5 weeks old. In March she turns 3, myself and her Nan have been a huge part of her life and I hope to continue that connection with her.

Personally I don't think I could go through with surrogacy or IVF.

4 weeks ago I found out that I'm pregnant. 8w3d as of today and due June 1st 2011.

It has come as a big surprise but we're very happy!

Thursday we saw our little kidney bean for the first time - it was lovely, we both couldn't keep the smile off our faces!
